Outsourcing Consultant
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include serving clients on outsourcing strategy,
options assessment, solution development, contract negotiations,
transition, remediation, exit/renewal, and governance engagements,
as well as contributing to the company’s intellectual property.
Potential engagements include performing costing
and pricing analysis; developing transition plans that prioritize
and sequence outsourcing efforts; developing and analyzing options
for using outsourcing to create value for a client; evaluating service
provider-developed solutions; and analyzing service provider capabilities.
Requirements
Successful candidates must have exceptional outsourcing experience
(five or more years working on business process or IT outsourcing
engagements for a top firm.) Proven analytical and problem-solving
skills, in addition to strong industry/ functional knowledge, are
essential. Other critical capabilities include solid client interaction,
collaborative work style, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, energetic and disciplined.
A bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or other relevant graduate
degree (e.g., J.D.) is beneficial but not required.
